Sweet Bell Peppers will mature to different colors depending on
its variety. However, most are sold in its green stage. As Peppers
mature, they experience an increase in their sugar content. the
most common variety of Bell Pepper sold in the U.S. is the California
Wonder. Sweet Bell Peppers are available year-round. Good Peppers
are firm and bright.

and high in vitamin C.
Did You Know:
"Sweet Peppers" are mild Peppers native to tropical areas
of the Western Hemisphere. They were brought to Spain by Christopher
Columbus where they quickly made their way into Spanish dishes.
Handling:
Ideal temperature is between 45º F to 50º F with high
humidity. Typical shelf life is up to one week. Sensitive to ethylene
and chill damage.
