Ideal temperature is between 56º F and 58º F to hold; 60º F to 65º F for ripening. Apple Bananas are very sensitive to chill damage below 56º F. They should be handled with caution to avoid bruising. Unless on display, never expose Apple Bananas to temperatures above 65º F. This fruit is also known as Manzano.
